We recognize that short-sightedness is growing across the world, increasing from 22% of the world’s population in 2000 to 33% in 2020 – half of the world’s population is expected to be short-sighted by 2050. Children today are at a high risk of suffering from this condition. Spending more time on close work such as reading, playing computer games, drawing, using smartphones and tablets, and from doing less outdoor activities; has been linked to the development of short-sightedness. As we know, students today spend most of their time on screens. Learn more on treatment for short-sightedness in children here -> https://eyeqjamaica.com/myopiamanagement.
